Help tackle cancer by donating to my club’s Cancer Council Call To Arms match.

 

With your help, these are just some of the things our Call To Arms match could achieve:

 

By raising $350, we could pay for collection and processing of seven sets of blood specimens to be kept in our biobank, a vital resource for future genetic and lifestyle research relating to cancer.

 

By raising $500, we could pay for a person to attend an advocacy-training workshop to help lobby for a better health system for all cancer patients.

 

By raising $1000, we could fund recruitment of 10 men to the NSW Cancer Lifestyle and Evaluation of Risk (CLEAR) Study..

The University of Technology Australian Football Club “The Bats” was formed in 1999. Based at Trumper Park in Paddington, the club has won 8 premierships in 8 years Last year we had over 160 registered players as well as more than one hundred active past players and supporters. With the introduction of a new team and the A grade being promoted we estimate the playing roster will grow to 200.
